Yes, the Levitron is interesting and I tend to ignore all the sales pitches about perpetual and ufo....I have the Super Levitron and I as well as a lot of my friends have never been able to get it to spin more than about 2 seconds....I plan on ordering the 'perpetuator' which is supposed to be a coil that fits on the bottom to keep it spinning ON ITS OWN using a rotating magnetic field, under power of course...but I think it would be cool....its about $79.00 and I don't have the URL at hand just now....
