UFOs in Russia: Witness Statements and X-Files
Unfortunately, if classified documents about UFOs actually exist, it is highly problematic to obtain them in Russia. In fact, researchers today have of just few official materials. At that, it is generally admitted that the UFO question has been studied for a long time by the Russian Academy of Sciences, the State Hydrometeorology Committee, and the Defense Ministry (Yuly Platov and Boris Sokolov refer to this in the report ?History of Soviet Studies of UFOs¦; Retired Colonel Boris Sokolov worked as a coordinator for anomaly studies at the Soviet Defense Ministry and Academy of Sciences during 1978 v 1989). Within the past two years, lots of allegedly classified documents have appeared on the Internet, which talk about the evacuation of some strange objects held under the KGB aegis. However, it is unlikely that these documents are reliable.

The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction
When I was but a young boy, the only time anyone talked about flying saucers was after watching a movie about them, or seeing an episode of Twilight Zone, or Science Fiction Theater. Then one morning, I was scanning over our local newspaper, and noticed about three pages deep this heading, "New Hampshire couple encounters UFO." Well, needless to say, I was intrigued. In our small town paper, you just didn't see things on this type of subject. As I began to read the article, I was astounded to see that these two people claimed to have been abducted by aliens, and taken inside the ship! Well, that was enough for me to think, "What is this, some kind of joke?" I thought I had heard the last of it, but I had not. Soon, this story became an international one, and even today, is still considered one of the most believable, and certainly most researched UFO cases, except for maybe the Roswell incident. One thing about this whole subject that seems odd to me, is that it is considered within the realm of possibility that someone could see a UFO, but for someone to be taken aboard one, NO WAY.

The Stanford, Kentucky Alien Abductions Part 1
The authenticity of UFO cases is usually judged by the respectability of its reporters, especially those dealing with abductions. That being the case, the report of an extraordinary series of events from three women from Stanford, Kentucky is highly regarded. It would be on January, 6, 1976 that Mona Stafford, Louise Smith, and Elaine Thomas would have a terrifying experience of the first kind. The added strength of a well-conducted investigation make this one of the most quoted events in UFO annals world-wide. This report would include not only abduction, but collaborating sightings, physical evidence, animal reaction, and electro-magnetic effects. Not only was this case fully reported and researched, it was followed up on; determining the long-range effects on the health and lives of these three well-regarded women.

Spontaneous Human Combustion
Many people have felt as if they were about to explode, or that their bellies were on fire, but so far there are no accounts of anyone suddenly bursting into flames due to a case of spontaneous combustion originating within the body. It is true that many people have suddenly exploded or suddenly burst into flames, but these cases are all traceable to unfriendly fire from without. The very idea of a living animal, human or otherwise, igniting from spontaneous combustion in the belly or anywhere else in the body is ludicrous and preposterous. Perhaps that explains why stories of spontaneous human combustion abound in books about "mysteries." Skeptics do not think there are any good documented cases of SHC, though we admit that there are stories which claim that at least a couple hundred human beings or human corpses have spontaneously combusted.

The Stanford, Kentucky Alien Abductions (2)
Naturally there were some psychological problems in the aftermath of their experiences. Mrs. Smith was having difficulties in performing her everyday duties as an assistant for the Casey County Extensive Office. Mrs. Stafford was not only suffering from her eye inflammation, she was desperate to know what happened during the missing time. The three women were assured that they would be able to undergo regressive hypnosis, and uncover their missing time, therefore alleviating some, if not all of their emotional stress. Several things were evident to the investigators at this first meeting.

UFO Prevents Blast at Chernobyl Nuclear Plant
Sixteen years have passed since the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear plant on April 26, 1986. The explosion happened at 1:23 a.m. Tons of radioactive products were emitted into the atmosphere. The machine shop of the plant was gripped with fire, and the fire was about to move on to the third power-generating unit of the plant. Firemen managed to extinguish the fire several hours later. Many of them died later of radiation exposure.

Travis Walton Alien Abduction
The UFO phenomena is generally given little if any serious consideration by those engaged in credible scientific studies. Without a doubt many so-called UFO sightings can easily be dismissed as misidentified craft, stars, planets, or just plain hoaxes perpetrated by thrill or money seeking individuals. Many books and studies have examined the statistics, and roughly about 95% of the sightings can easily be explained away. Considering the great distances between stars, it is very easy to assume that the odds of a visit from another intelligence are extremely low. These assumptions are based upon the extent of our knowledge, and should another race visit us, they would most certainly possess a higher degree of intelligence than we do. We are trying to judge a possibility while handicapped by the limits of what we know today.

Newspaper report on UFOs

generation, and astronomers say the red planet's appearance in the night sky
may be the astronomical event of 1988.
As if to demonstrate the heavens have a sense of humor, the height of the
show comes in September, just shy of the 50th anniversary of Orson Welles' 1938
"War of the Worlds" broadcast that panicked the nation with fictional reports
of invaders from Mars.
"I see 1988 as a great Martian adventure," said Jack Horkheimer, the aptly
named "Star Hustler" of the Public Broadcasting System and executive director
of Miami's Space Transit Planetarium. "I'm like a kid in a candy store."

The Face on Mars
The face on mars is in no doubt proof of extraterrestrial life. Perhaps in 1976 when these photographs were taken, the world was not ready for alien contact. But in today's society, it is widely accepted that Earth is probably NOT the only planet that can sustain life. We are debating if there is life on our neighboring planet (Mars) so one can not possibly assume there is no other life out there.

Lunar Transient Phenomena
With all of the speculation about alien bases on the moon

Focus on the object you want to effect with all your might to move the
object till you lose all awareness of your surroundings & merge with the
object. At this point only you & the object exist & you can move it as it was
just an extension of your body. The book says that just as you think about a
problem or other things in the back of your mind. This sort of visualization
can also be used for astral projection.
