You may have seen the TV shows featuring "Ghost Hunters," people looking for paranormal activity. A former nursing home in New Castle is becoming a hot spot for it. Some think the 84-year-old building is haunted. You be the judge. Gary Cangey, Paranormal Investigator, tells us some of the history of the building. "It was built in 1925 as the Lawrence County Poor Farm. At that time, it served to house the counties homeless and indigents, and things of that nature. Then in 1977, a skilled wing was added, and they turned it into a nursing facility and changed the name to Hill View Manor." Hill View Manor closed in 2005. Most of the rooms are empty except for some old equipment...or are they? Did everyone leave when the doors were shut?
