Police have defended an investigation into unfounded claims by psychics that a man who took his own life had actually been murdered. Dyfed-Powys Police said they had a responsibility to victims and families to investigate all deaths thoroughly. They were reacting to reports that they started an inquiry after psychics told 32-year-old Carlos Assaf's family he had been killed by gangsters.
