When times are tough and hope is lost, there is nothing do except to seek refuge in the Lord. By regular prayers, we replenish our spiritual energies so that we are strong enough to face the challenges of existence. But, a common man who is hard-pressed for time cannot really devote too much time for prayers, meditation or associated rituals. Divinity, out of concern for humanity has ensured that a common person can reach maximum benefit of rituals by performing them at specified time-periods. There are auspicious periods which multiply the effects of our prayers and rituals. One such period is the "Vasantha Navaraathri" that comes in March/ April every year. People usually celebrate only the "Shaaradha Navaraathri" which comes in October/ November. Only yogis and saadhakaas perform Vasantha Navaraathri Pooja.
