Re: Capacitor as core in coil

It is called the 'electric rocket' and is posted on Bill Beaty's site at
http://www.eskimo.com/~billb

Click on Weird Science and look for projects or something of that order.
It is still posted...claims to redirect aether through this capacitive
conduit to produce a thrust....

Stan Deyo also has a similar device, though different construction,
written up in his book, 'The Vindicator Scrolls'....two fellows in Canada
said they built it and it worked as described.

Essentially the Deyo device was a truck inner tube, slit on the inside so
that you could get into the tube but not damage the top/bottom or
outside.

Wooden circular supports were inserted to prop up the tube...a high
voltage wire was inserted through the center of these wooden
disks...there is a bit more and I'd have to look it up, but when the tube
is set to stand in a vertical axis and the high voltage is applied, the
claim is you can put a feather, piece of paper, wood chips, metal
filings, anything lightweight, either organic or inorganic near the tube
and it will be thrown upwards, like an invisible wind....

It sounds ionic with the high voltage but it is much like the electric
rocket...guess I should post that as a file for study....it is
interesting, though I've never seen it demonstrated.

The idea follows that moving high voltage entrains aether which is why it
works with organic or inorganic materials.
