Jason Hawes founded the Atlantic Paranormal Society in 1990 "after having my own paranormal experience," he explains with a straight face at the outset of the season premiere of the reality show Ghost Hunters (Space - 9 p.m.). Myth busting is part of the game. "What makes us different from most of the other groups out there," Hawes says, "is that we're going into a case trying to disprove a haunting." Tonight, the hunters wander through Louisiana's Myrtles Plantation, touted as "one of America's most haunted homes." Nearly a dozen murders have been reported there over the years, and the plantation is reputedly home to at least 12 ghosts.
