The strange trend of perplexing precipitation continues this week as Russia is blanketed in a purple haze of cyclamen snow. The source of the snow is still being speculated on, but the answer as to what it really is has shocked scientists as samples after the first snow drifts are being analyzed. Of course strange colored snow has hit Russia before, but never in the way this most recent fall has.

The magnitude 8.8 earthquake in Chile, according to several witnesses on the ground, was preceded by a mysterious light in the sky in much the same way that two other earthquakes had witnesses come forward. The Haiti earthquake within the past month, and the Earthquake in Sichuan China in 2008 both reported mysterious "eerie lights" above the sky, one of which was videotaped and broadcast on national news.

A few newspapers in the United Kingdom ten years ago ran a story that snow would be a thing of the past by the year 2010. As the US and UK both contend with a massive nationwide snowstorm that slowed down traffic and ultimately grabbed the Midwest, many are wondering why the claim made it into print.

The recent Haiti earthquake has caused untold devastation. Thousands dead, and billions of dollars in property damage, dwarfing any other earthquake within recent memory. Already 2010 is shaping up to be a quake-filled year. But could the worst be yet to come? Some scientists speculate that the recent increase in quake activity could be indicative of slowly building pressure beneath the earth's crust, creating conditions perfect for the fabled Megaquake.

A collection of mysterious snowballs was gathered in Sweden after bird watchers passing by noticed a massive cache of them. The balls of ice, though varying in size are approximately the size of a basketball on average, and were made somehow in the sub-freezing temperatures then deposited on the shore in clutches almost like groups of eggs. Experts are still scratching their heads trying to figure out how these mysterious snowballs could have been created.

A whiz with numbers by the name of Arash Amini has come out with an analysis of the Norway Spiral and why it couldn’t have possibly been the exhaust trail of a missile. The difference between his conclusion and the conclusions of others like him is that he has laid out the facts in simple easy to understand mathematical format for all those who wish to confirm or deny his claim.

On December 31st, just hours before the new year would coast in bringing hope of a brighter future with new triumphs and threats, the last high profile Fortean occurrence occurred when residents walked outside to find a large swath of their neighborhood had been covered by a thick frozen layer of pink snow. No evidence suggested that any tampering had been done to the snow that covered every inch of several rows of houses.

Tuesday Evening at 5 PM Lightning hit several homes in Ndwana Village in Ntabankulu South Africa less than a hundred miles from the Eastern coast. During the most recent lightning attack four people were killed. A third, a member of the same family, was also struck but survived, but suffered from severe burns. Though this incident may sound like an incredibly unlikely high death toll for lightning for a region, this single village has had fourteen deaths attributed to lightning… in the past month.

In the last few hours, thousands of emails have been leaked to internet forums detailing a massive conspiracy to fudge climate change results to make the results look more influenced by carbon emissions and cover-up any inconsistencies that may lead to alternative theories regarding climate control. Given the high controversy of this subject, it’s important to understand the potential for deception, and any evidence from either side must be taken with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, the controversy is causing quite a storm.

A report has recently been published by an anonymous witness regarding an event which took place on October 13. Shortly before hearing of the Moscow Halo cloud formation, this witness was driving down a lonely stretch of road at night just past the Doylestown area southwest of Akron heading toward Cleveland and he saw a spectacular light show in the sky which he would later describe as bearing a striking resemblance to the Moscow Halo cloud sighted earlier that day.

A mysterious cloud spotted above Russia’s historic city of Moscow has been spotted sending shivers through the paranormal community both online and off. The cloud appeared on October 7th, hovering above Moscow Ring Road. The road was heavily congested with traffic, and the video posted appears to be taken from the passenger’s seat. The bizarre formation looks like something out of a Hollywood blockbuster, and the explanations circulating are no less sensational.

Is Global Warming Natural?
