A Revamped Oscar Logo Gives off the Impression of Illuminati Symbolism

Over the years, there have been conspiracy theories of all sorts linked to popular televised entertainment events, such as the Grammys and the Super Bowl Halftime show. In addition to blatant uses of questionable symbolism, viewers with eagle-eyes have also pinpointed hidden imagery and references within these shows related to the Illuminati, Freemasonry, the occult, and the New World Order. It seems that Illuminati symbolism is everywhere, and it appears that the Academy Awards has jumped head first into the pool of secret society symbolism with its new logo.

The Academy Awards (also referred to as the Oscars) is an annual awards ceremony shown on TV that recognizes the achievements of those associated with the film industry. Winners bring home an iconic statuette, affectionately known as 'Oscar.' The awards have been given out since 1929, and this year, the latest crop of Oscar recipients was honored on March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. However, something was different this time around.

This year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences decided to create a new and improved logo that features the Oscar statue. One of the first things you may notice is the gold pyramid shape that surrounds the Oscar statue, which is positioned in the middle of the triangular structure.

The Academy released an official statement regarding their choice to change the logo through their chief marketing office, Christina Kounelias, which the Hollywood Reporter touched upon below:

"The Academy began its search for a logo two years ago. According to Kounelias, "We set out to build something that accurately reflects our community of artists, their diverse talents, and the creative process they employ to bring disparate ideas together into a single vision." The triangular shape is created from a spotlight above, which unites the "A" (for "Academy") with the iconic statuette."

The pyramid structure and the positioning of the Oscar statue within the logo appear to embrace the same kind of symbolism as the Illuminati, who are often linked to the all-seeing eye pyramids that have become a calling card. Academy representatives would like to say that it forms an 'A' to represent the Academy, but no matter how you slice it – the very first image that comes to mind is a pyramid shape.

The golden statue itself also has its own hidden meaning of its own. On one hand, you can see the shape of the statue as resembling a depiction of an ancient Egyptian god known as a 'creator god.' Others trace back the symbolism of the gold statue to the Bible, where some religious tales speak of people who worshipped false idols made out of gold.

Every year, millions of people tune in to watch the best dressed attendees of the Oscars ceremony, and see who takes home one of the statuettes. This year, approximately 43 million people viewed the Academy Awards, which means that more people were exposed to the latest Illuminati symbolism of the updated visuals related to the event's logo.
