Criminal in Oklahoma References the Illuminati While Holding Toddler at Knife-Point

It's no wonder that references to the Illuminati are connected to a handful of crimes that involve murder and in some cases, suspected sacrifices. In this day and age, it's hard to tell if the media has brainwashed people into embracing the secret society as a trendy 'buzzword' or if people are truly following what the organization stands for and feel compelled to act upon their perception of the Illuminati. Most recently, a man was killed while holding a toddler at knife-point inside of a store in-between speaking of the 'Illuminati.'

On Monday, June 17, 2013, a man identified as 37-year-old Sammie Wallace held an innocent bystander at knife-point inside of a Walmart in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The victim of the traumatic crime was a 2 ½ year old toddler, who was randomly picked and snatched out of her mother's shopping cart after Wallace walked into the neighborhood store that fateful afternoon.

The child's life soon became in grave danger as Wallace started a 'final countdown' to which he stated he'd take the life of the child once he reached the end. Attempts were made to negotiate with Wallace, but he continued to make motions that indicated he meant to cause the child harm. In the end, a police officer was able to get close enough to fire a single shot into Wallace's head, which left him dead.

The officer who fired the shot was Capt. Dan Huff, who is the commander of the department's investigations unit. His decision to shoot came when Walker began counting down towards the child's death.

In a later search of Wallace's apartment, the police discovered and seized a notebook filled with religious writings and other papers. In an affidavit for the search warrant, it was noted that Wallace spoke of the 'Illuminati' as he held the girl hostage.

Interestingly, according to a news report featured on Oklahoma's Own Newson6.com, a representative from the Midwest City Police Department say they learned after conducting a bit of research that June 21 is cited as a day of human sacrifice for the Illuminati. Local news outlets also misidentified the Illuminati as a Satanic cult, which is not correct.

The Illuminati is a secret organization in the middle of a conspiracy theory, and are believed to work towards achieving a totalitarian one-world government known as the New World Order. The group is thought to conduct secret meetings involving influential members of the world's political giants, business leaders, and wealthy elite.

This is not the first time this year that the Illuminati has figured into the actions of a criminal or played a role in a particular crime. In March of 2013, an aspiring rapper in Richmond, Virginia, attempted to sacrifice his friend to the Illuminati, believing that it would bring him closer to reaching celebrity status in a shorter amount of time. Wafeeq Sabir El-Amin blamed marijuana for his actions, which led him to shoot his friend in the eye. A June trial has been set for El-Amin, who reportedly told his friend, "You are my sacrifice."
