Underworld (2003)

Shadow of the Vampire is a film that is basically a movie within a movie. It depicts the making of a German classic , a silent horror movie that dates back to 1922. The movie is called Nosferatu-Eine Symphonie des Grauens (Nosferatu-a Symphony of Horror). During the production of Nosferatu, a great deal of strangeness occurred. Some of the crew members vanished, while others died. The movie centers on the complicated relationship that occurred between Murnau (the director) and Schreck, who was the lead actor. The movie featured a nice assortment of actors, including John Malkovich as Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, Willem Dafoe as Max Schreck, Udo Kier as Albin Grau, Cary Elwes as Fritz Arno Wagner, and Eddie Izzard as Gustav von Wangenhein.
Blood: The Last Vampire (2000)
The Japanese anime tale of Saya tells the story of the last original vampire. She is under contract by the United States government to pose as a schoolgirl and go undercover in a high school. Saya is instructed to identify and kill three chiropteran demons , creatures with bat-like features that feed on the blood of humans. They are hidden from the rest of the world and live in disguise. Saya’s character possesses supernatural abilities and senses that allow her to kill. In 2009, a Japanese live remake was released on an adaptation of the tale.
