Those aboard the ISS are no doubt used to the idea of people scrutinizing their every move via cameras around the station, but when cameras caught something else unusual, viewers at home started recording and now we have what appears to be some of the most mysterious footage of what could be an alien creature yet. But is it an extraterrestrial or not really all that extraordinary at all?
The footage shows an object moving along the edge of the frame in the corner and from the looks of it the shimmering object then reaches up and even starts climbing around the space station. Those aboard appear to be focused on a nearby object. And even that object looks eerily similar to the UFOs spotted previously floating around the ISS.
When looking at the footage you'll notice a strange disc-shaped glowing object in the foreground with a darkened point in the center. Similar objects have reportedly been filmed by NASA for years including the now notorious NASA incident where a cable snapped and started floating off into space after extending to a length of over a mile. As the cable was stretching and slowly drifting into space objects were seen swarming around it including a massive object behind it that was reportedly larger than any known spacecraft set into orbit by human hands. Skeptics of the event say it was nothing more than a lighting trick made to look like a close up object was further away. Still others admit they have no idea what it could have been.
Looking at the footage now, though just recently uploaded to Youtube from an incident in 2010, it appears the strange object clinging to the side of the space station is far more dramatic and some have even said it's clear evidence of a close encounter of the third kind. The translucent apparition moves and clings around on the edge of the space station before the camera finally pans away presumably with neither of the astronauts onboard noticing that a mysterious phantasmal figure is rummaging around lurking just outside their hull.
Judge for yourself. Is this evidence of an alien presence on the ISS? Would such a presence change the meaning of the I in ISS to Interstellar? And just what reason would such a visitor have to move around on the surface of the vessel? Looking at this image at first it appears to be a bag or piece of transparent sheeting clung to the side blowing in the (nonexistent) wind. But the deliberate movements of this shape almost seem to suggest a deeper sort of intelligence. But just what that intelligence is intending to achieve is beyond us - and certainly hasn't received any coverage in NASA's newsletter. But because the incident took place in 2010 and was captured from a live feed, it's difficult to ascertain just how many people saw this happen live and how many independent witnesses could have grabbed the footage.
