Jamie Lloyd (played by Danielle Harris) was first introduced into the Halloween franchise in ‘Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers’ when the emotionless killer returns to his hometown so that he can murder his 7-year-old niece on Halloween. In Halloween 5, Myers returns one year later to relocate his niece and exact his revenge. This time around, Jamie no longer has the ability to speak ”“ losing it after the attack on her foster mother. An urban legend surrounding the tape says that anyone who views it will die within seven days. At the center of the legend are the circumstances concerning a young girl named Samara who seems to terrorize the people that view the tape. Unfortunately, Rachel and her son have watched the tape and she must race against time to save their lives. In one memorable scene, Samara crawls out of the television screen on her hands and knees, and has climbed the walls in another scene. The film was quite popular and within the first 24 hours of its video release, more than two million DVD copies were sold in the United States alone.
