Louis accepts the offer and Lestat drains Louis’ mortal blood and replaces it with his own vampire blood. Cronos (1993)
Guillermo del Toro directed this 1993 film that truly jumpstarted his movie making career. In Cronos, a different take on horror is revealed where you actually feel sympatric towards the plight of the creatures. An aging antique dealer named Jesus Gris is at the center of the storyline. He is a vampire-like character that fits into a plot involving the discovery of a mechanized scarab. When it is opened, it will painfully stab the person that is holding it. However, the wound brings youthful vigor but it comes with a price. The holder also feels a thirst for blood , like a vampire. Another part of the plot includes a dying tycoon wishes to possess the device and sends his nephew to retrieve it. You will also see Ron Perlman star in this film , known for his role in Hellboy.
Blade (1998)
Who can forget the storyline of Blade (played by Wesley Snipes), who takes on the character of a Marvel Comics superhero who is part human and part vampire. Known as a ‘Day Walker,’ Blade has devoted his life to ridding the world of vampires.
