In our body, seven energy centers or chakras exist at the physical counterparts of the chief plexuses of nerves, veins, and arteries. These chakras belong to the subtle (non-physical) body and act as confluence of subtle energy channels known as nadis. All the chakras are linked together. Although they are not of physical body, their connection with the former triggers a deep impact on different functions of the body. Therefore, while a proper balance can keep health under control, an imbalance in one of them can disturb the overall wellbeing in different ways.
