Extraterrestrial Life, Space Exploration, & The Future

The opening to the classic science fiction television series Star Trek began with the words, “Space… the final frontier”. While certainly a ringing way to start a television show each week, it’s not quite correct.

In fact, there are still many “new frontiers” for humanity to explore – some of them “out there”, and some of them still “down here”.

The New Frontiers Symposium will present speakers who have examined various aspects of these “new frontiers”, and the implications for humanity’s future.
