When planning a trip to the Headless Horseman, you will encounter a 1-mile hayride, five professionally designed haunted houses, four food stands, and a labyrinth-style corn maze. Some of the biggest draws to the attraction are how professional the lighting, costume, sound, set design, special effects, and make-up is. The attractions are open to the public from Thursday to Sunday. Nightly entertainment also takes place at Headless Horseman event, including the youngest female sword swallower in the world.
Tickets cost $33, while you can enjoy the midway for free. If you are receiving an inhouse ticket or have purchased online, tickets are picked up at the ticket window. After you pass through the security line, you will enter the midway. The hayride is the first thing you will experience. The first hayride of the night starts at 7 p.m. When the hayride ends, it drops you off at the Lunar Motel Haunted House. The frights for the night continues onto the Glutton’s Slaughter House, Dark Harvest Cornmaze, Night Shade Greenhouse, and The Feeding. Finally, you will reach an exit that takes you to the last haunted house (Dahlia Bloods), which ends at the midway, where you can purchase food if you like.
