If you’re looking for one of the largest scream parks in the United States to spend your Halloween night at, SpookyWorld & Nightmare New England promises not to disappoint. With more than 100,000 square feet of frightening thrills and spills, there’s something for everything. In this article, you will learn what Spookyworld has to offer and how much it’s going to cost you.
SpookyWorld & Nightmare New England stretches across 20 acres of land, where you’ll find seven haunted attractions in one spot. Within the lines of the property, random freaks and ghouls wander about. A trip to the Monster Midway offers live music, go-karts (voted #1 in New Hampshire), two themed mini-golf courses, zombie paintball, batting cages, concession stands, restaurant, bar, photo opportunities, gifts and a lot more.
When preparing to enjoy SpookyWorld & Nightmare New England, it’s important to note that not all attractions are advised for guests under the age of 13. For the most part, the attractions do contain PG-13 rated content. The grounds are filled with activities and food that have caught the eye of reputable magazines and other media outlets. For example, Forbes FYI Magazine said that the onsite Woodman’s of Essex provides the “Best Seafood in America”. The Travel Channel dubbed the edibles the “World’s Best Fantastic Fast Food. Travelocity said that Spookyworld is one of the “Local Secrets-Big Finds” of the region.
The Lowdown on the Attractions
This year, the haunted attractions have been updated with redesigns that include three never-seen-before attractions. Nightmare New England offers terrifying sights to see that include the following spooks and scares:
The Colony (a frightful touring of the woods), The Catacombs (you never know who you will encounter there), Torment (which prays on your phobias whether they are spiders, serpents, clowns, or tight spaces), Raven’s Claw (surround yourself with crypts, tombstones, mausoleums and freshly dug graves), House of Eternal Darkness (for those who have a fear of the dark), Freak Show in 3D (offers classic 3-D scenes with clowns, carnival themes and toxic waste), and Sleep Stalkers, which involves patients from an old hospital.
