Is there a plausible explanation for the crop circle? Many scientists have had theories on these phenomena. Scientists speculate that these are hoaxes. The few scientists that do believe in them state that they are caused by tornados, abnormal wind patterns, lightening, and sometimes plasma vortices. Farmers believe that crop circles are vandalism. However, no one has proven anything about them.
Crop circles date back to the 17th Century and have baffled many over the years. They started as very simple geometric patterns and have grown to complex patterns. Many believe that this is proof that these occurrences are hoaxes. Think about it. As time went by and technological tools advanced, so did the complexity, shapes, and sizes of these crop circles. I will buy that theory for a moment, but wait until you hear what I found out after this.
Several crop circle making competitions have been held throughout the years. The first reason these contests have been held is because making them is fun according to many people that create these images for a living. But the other explanation for these contests and creating crop circles is to try to prove one way or the other whether the strange crop circle images can be recreated or duplicated in their entirety.
The results of the crop circle competitions have been recorded over and over and they all state the same things. Crop circles, no matter how complex, are easy to create over night with the right equipment. However, they also have proven a couple of other things.
First, with unexplained crop circles, the ground was not always dry. Because of this, the seeds to the crops that were destroyed were completely intact. However, the competitors of these contests have stated that it is possible to recreate this as well; however, they have been unsuccessful in doing it within one night and when the ground is wet. To me, this failure means that while humans can recreate crop circles, they have not been able to prove that all crop circles are manmade. Think about it. If the best crop circle creators in the world have not been able to recreate every aspect of the unexplained crop circle creations, can you honestly say that you believe all of them are manmade. I cannot.
Secondly, the competitions allow a person to use any equipment that they want. Many of the more complex crop circles were created with helicopters. Don’t you think that someone would hear a helicopter in their back yard if there was one there? At the very least, they would have seen the lights come through the windows of there house. I would think so.
Another interesting fact is that the unexplained crop circles all have a strange pattern in them. All of the unexplained crop circles have a weaving pattern that to this day has not been recreated by researchers. The crops lay across each other in a weaving pattern of their own.
Some of the unexplained crop circles appeared while the ground was wet. Yet, when they were discovered, the designs themselves were dry. The ground beneath them appeared to be severely dehydrated. Every inch of the crop around the designs was soaked. How can man dry an area that large and that quick? This feature has led many scientists and skeptics to believe that maybe the earth creates these phenomena.
Unbendable plants are another feature common among the unexplained crop circles. Canola is one of the hardest plants to bend. Once they hit about a forty-five degree angle, they snap and break apart. Many of the unexplained crop circles are in Canola fields and are you ready for this? All of the plants are bent, not broken, at a ninety degree angles or flat to the ground. This is another feature of the crop circle that has never been recreated by researchers.
There are several other features of crop circles that researchers have never been able to recreate. Changes in the crops cellular make-up, abnormal growth of the seeds from a crop circle formation, perfection of the designs, and heat intensive enough to dehydrate the crops and the soil are all observations of the unexplained circles that have not been recreated. A number of explanations have been offered to account for these features.
Unidentified Flying Objects is one commonly offered explanation, especially by the people who have had these occurrences in their own fields. Some have claimed to see strange lights and have heard weird noises when these phenomena occurred. I don’t know if E.T. was capable of anything like this, but I guess since we know almost nothing about aliens, except what E.T. showed us, it is possible.
Another explanation offered is that the earth created these formations itself; however, no specific electromagnetic or geomagnetic forces have been documented in association with any of the unexplained crop circles. Manmade satellites are another explanation. Some research skeptics claim that high powered communication satellites if aimed and focused on the ground could cause the type of circles as the result of their microwave signals.
There are hundreds of strange crop circles and hundreds of theories. Which crop circles are really unexplainable and which ones aren’t? I don’t know. Which theories are substantial and which ones aren’t? I don’t know that either. The only thing I know is that there are a lot of mysterious phenomena in the fields that has not complete explanation.
