The zodiac sign of the Capricorn is represented by the goat, which was often portrayed as a mythical sea goat in the past. Legend has it that it came out of the water in an attempt to shower civilization onto humanity. Today, the goat serves as a symbol for individuals born between December 22nd and January 20th and ruled over by Saturn. In this introduction, you will learn about some of the personality commonalities usually shared by those born under this sign.

When you think of your Capricorn friend, what are some of the descriptive words that come to mind? Would you say they conserve and are cautious? Do they like to dole out discipline or scold you when you are misbehaving? Are they filled with responsibility and relish a sense of duty? Are they consistent, pessimistic, patient, and sometimes even narrow-minded and callous? It sounds like a harsh assessment, but not all depictions of the Capricorn are this strict. To learn more about this sign, check out the following characteristics and traits that are traditionally associated with this zodiac sign:

1) Capricorn is often viewed as a traditionalist and is known for devoting a lot of time and energy to their resisting anything that suggests change. This is probably why a lot of people find a Capricorn hard to deal with, as they tend to showcase negative viewpoints. They also have a knack for taking on a huge amount of responsibility and duty , which can certainly put a damper on enjoying life and spontaneously taking pleasure in something out of the ordinary. As a youth, the Capricorn often longs to mature, as they usually long to reach the heights of success and status that only an adult can truly obtain.

2) Although poppies are usually associated with death, they are also linked to Capricorns.

3) When it comes to creating a long-term strategy in life, Capricorn is pretty good at accomplishing this task. They can become controlling, but like to set and achieve goals. A Capricorn is the type of person to already know what they want and will get out of the future. Even though this sign highlight a flair for wisdom and practicality , they rarely find the courage to think outside of the box. This is an important to thing to remember when starting a partnership with this sign, as you may never get anywhere with your creativity, as a Capricorn is usually known for their narrow-mindedness.

4) According to astrologists, the energy of Saturn (the ruling planet of Capricorn), it is hard for this type of individual to freely share their emotions. It is not uncommon to find a Capricorn that feels rather lonely and misunderstood by the rest of the world. Even though they may display a high level of confidence, their true feelings often remain hidden.
