First of all, in order to find common ground upon which to cut straight the word of God:
Let us determine and agree upon an accurate definition of the word ‘rapture’.
I offer the following understanding. Examine it and see if everyone can agree with it.
1. Rapture applies ONLY to believers (whether Old Testament or New Testament, whether dead <asleep> or living). Rapture does NOT apply to unbelievers.
2. Rapture is the term used to describe the action of a believer being caught away from wherever they are, into the presence of the Lord.
Does anyone have an objection to this definition, and if so what?
